Push was a free bi-monthly youth lifestyle magazine, that explored Hip-Hop, R&B and Grime culture as vehicles to inform and inspire next generation creative talent.
I was brought on to work with Push magazine from its birth in December 2017 through till its third issue, during my time with the team I curated the brand identity, promotional materials and and editorial design.
The content Push emits, blurs the lines between industries, allowing individuals to seamlessly discover inspiration within new areas of culture they may not at first consider. The logo and masthead I created reflects this and the content in that the overall direction will morph, distort and change with the times.
The artistic direction and style I chose to work with focuses on pulling symbolic and metaphorical design elements from key areas within relevant cultural themes to convey messages to a particular audience group.
